The Institute for Italian & Sardinian Studies' Study Abroad Sardinia Program is designed to meet the needs of colleges and universities who want a faculty lead, small, initimate, cross cultural study abroad experience for their students in a rural Italian setting. Study abroad in a rural location enables students to really focus on their courses while discovering Italian culture at an interpersonal level.
The Institute for Italian & Sardinian Studies' Advisory Council provides guidance to the Study Abroad Sardinia program regarding the operation of its study abroad program and related educational issues. The Advisory council is made up of individual educators from many disciplines.
